O Allah by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation give me life so long as You know that life is good for me and make me die when death is good for me
O Allah, I ask You (to help me attain) sincere speech and fear of You in pleasure and in anger and moderation in wealth and in poverty.
And I ask You for favors that will not end for the delight of the eyes that will not be cut off for satisfaction with the Decree for ease after death for Your sight, and the desire to meet You without any harmful affliction nor any dark trial.
O Allah adorn us with the adornment of faith.
And make us guides who are guided, O Lord of the worlds.

Tasbih-e-Fatima to Thank and Praise Allah
This dua, known as tasbih e Zahra or tasbih e Fatima is the dua Prophet Muhammad(ﷺ) taught Fatima (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهَا) when she asked him for a servant. It is narrated by Hazrat Ali in Sahih Bukhari that Hazrat Fatima went to the Prophet to request a helper for household work. However, the Prophet said,
“Shall I tell you a thing which is better than what you asked me for? When you go to your beds, say: ‘Allahu Akbar (i.e., Allah is Greater)’ for 34 times, and ‘Al hamdu Li llah (i.e., all the praises are for Allah)’ for 33 times, and Subhan Allah (i.e., Glorified be Allah) for 33 times. This is better for you than what you have requested.” – al Bukhari 3113
From that day onwards, this tasbih became one of the daily duas of Hazrat Fatima (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهَا). Muslims may recite this dua daily after each Salah/Namaz or before going to bed so Allah may make their work easy for them.
Here is how to recite the dua e tasbih:
- Allahu Akbar (i.e. Allah is Greater) – 34 times
- Al hamdu Li llah (i.e., all the praises are for Allah) – 33 times
- Subhan Allah (i.e. Glorified be Allah) – 33 times
